Systemic and Family Constellations workshops are given throughout each year. Below is an short explanation of this powerful method to heal long held family wounds. Constellations are also a way to realize our strengths and find direction in allowing life to unfold into all that the goodness that is waiting for us to receive.
Systemic Constellation Work is a facilitated group process that utilizes participants to set up, map and heal painful relationship dynamics. When we see where people stand in relationship to each other, we gain clarity about dysfunction and realize solutions to heal suffering. In a respectful yet powerful way, constellations bring to light the relationship dynamics of our family system to heal and restore divisions that keep us apart. This process is guided by an understanding of natural organizing principles that sustain human relationships and when aligned bring peace.
Bert Hellinger, the founder of this method, integrated family systems therapy, existential phenomenology and ancestor reverence and family heirarchiacal patterns of the South African Zulus, with whom he lived for 16 years.
When we are connected to our family, we are connected to our strength.
Constellation workshops focus on personal and family issues including: depression, addiction, adoption, illness, loss, and chronic feelings of failure or not belonging, relationship cut offs, and long held limiting beliefs about our selves and family members. Constellations allow us to access the strengths and resources of our family and our ancestors. In honoring what came before us we free up the energy of lifeto flow for our own creations.
A family constellation is an experiential process. To create a constellation, representatives are chosen from the group and placed within the circle according to our inner picture of our family. From this, the facilitator generates movement and healing words that ease tension and loosen the blocks and suffering in the system. A new understanding of ourselves and our place in our families helps us accept what we can not change and brings peace and harmony to life.
